Christopher Sanchez Speaks About Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), Generative AI, and Implications for the Future of Work and Business in Latin America.
On May 24th, Christopher Sanchez opened the event Beyond Imagination: The Future of Business and Work in the Era of Generative AI and shared his belief that:
“Latin America has the unique opportunity to reposition itself over the next 10 to 15 years into a technological powerhouse. Where technology is not only used broadly in the region but also developed here [Latin America] and exported to other markets.”
Christopher spoke about the unique opportunities for Latin America with the recent developments in Generative AI, AI Copilots, Quantum Computing, and Artificial General Intelligence for companies of all sizes, academia, government, and individual careers. But most importantly, how could everyone in the audience become AI-ready for what the future might hold for us in Latin America?
The event took place in the iconic BBVA Tower in Mexico City and surpassed all expectations as it sold out with over 250 attendees and had a waitlist of 154 people. Anna Goncalves commented, “My co-founders and I really wanted to learn about how AI can help us in our startup. It seems like everything is just getting faster and faster, and events like these are so important to stay informed and connected with everyone in the ecosystem.”
The rest of the event was comprised of a keynote by Alejandro Bahsen Correa, who spoke about AB InBev and their work with generative AI, and two panels on the Future of Work and the Future of Business in the Era of Generative AI.
